Please note: There is no space for sewing machines with Day Pass access. Small handwork is welcome!

All bedrooms are shared rooms. Our retreat home is a 100 year old house. Bring a friend and you can room together! Just be sure and include each other’s names on your registration and we’ll match you up. Coming alone? Don’t fret, about 95% of attendees who come, don’t know anyone either. This is an opportunity to come together with some of your soon to be best quilting friends! We’ll match roommates for you and let you know in advance so you can introduce yourselves.

You have a few options depending on your preferences: If you'd like a private bedroom within the retreat house, you may purchase two Overnight Guest Retreat tickets to reserve a room for solo occupancy. Space is limited, so please email Christen to confirm availability.

You’re also welcome to book your own accommodations nearby and still enjoy the full retreat experience. Simply purchase one Overnight Guest Retreat ticket and let us know you'll be staying off-site—you’ll still receive all included meals, swag, and full-day retreat house access.

If you’d prefer a more casual drop-in experience, a Quilter's Day Pass ticket grants you access during select retreat hours for mingling, sessions, light snacks, and more—no overnight stay required.

SEW & STAY PASS: We'll have light brunches each morning and delicious catered dinners in the evenings. Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the day. Dietary restrictions? Just let us know after you register!

QUILTER'S DAY PASS: light snacks and drinks will be provided at the house during the day.

Our Retreat runs from checking in Sunday, October 26, 2025 after 5PM to Checkout on - Wednesday October 29, 2025 at 11am. If you are flying in, you'll want to fly into Kansas City Airport. It is about an hours drive from the airport to our retreat home. When making travel arrangements, it is best to plan to attend the full Retreat so you don't miss any of the special planned experiences.

Not at all! This retreat is designed to be welcoming to confident beginners and experienced quilters alike. If you love quilting and want a joyful escape, you belong here.

There is no pressure to buy anything new for this in-person experience. Wear whatever feels comfortable to you!

Yes! There is an exclusive online community group where you can introduce yourself and make any shared travel arrangements prior to the retreat. It'll be a great way to share excitement and ideas as the retreat grows closer!

You will receive a comprehensive retreat packet with EVERYTHING you need to know (including a detailed packing list) early September.

Yes! They absolutely do! I have an article that will help you with the process of traveling with your favorite little machine. Click here to check it out & read the suggested tips! Of course, it is completely up to you if you would rather shop and play and save the sewing for when you return home!

We believe that you are deserving of spending 4 days focused completely on you and your love of quilting! Because of this (and insurance policy reasons), only participating attendees - Pass/Ticket Holders - are allowed on retreat property during our event (no exceptions will be made).

If you choose to travel with your family or spouse, Missouri star has plenty of activities to keep someone busy during the day including their famous Mansland store - you can read all about it here.

Our retreat home is a 100 year old home with multiple stairs. Unfortunately it does not meet ADA requirements.

Yes! Lucky you! Christen will be bringing her most trusted and favorite wing woman! Attendees will have the pleasure of meeting Ms. Carol. She is Christen's #1 supporter, assistant and also... her momma 🤩 You will love her!

In short... the shared bedrooms of the retreat facility do not allow for men and women to co-share the sleeping spaces. Day tickets are open for men! If you are interested in coming to a retreat hosted by ISeeStarsQuilting, please email christen@iseestarsquilting and let her know!

No. Any fabric purchases or cost of materials for projects are not included. Each ticket holder will be provided with a detailed list of materials needed prior to the trip, but if you do need anything, we're in quilt town USA, baby! The sky is the limit! (... or the number in your bank account may be the limit lol however you choose to look at it! 😂)

Retreat tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you're unable to attend, you're welcome to gift or sell your ticket to another quilter. (Just give us a heads-up!) If given enough notice, we will try to help you find another quilter to take your place.
