Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned quilter, this get-away retreat is for you! Everyone is welcome here. All the little details of the retreat will be taken care of for you... down to the detailed packing list that will be included in your retreat packet!

Yes! If you prefer not to bring your own, machine rental is available on-site—so you can arrive empty-handed and sew right away! In the past, Bernina Sewing machines have been provided at a cost of $10/day and will be paid for by the attendee at the time of arrival. Please let me know ahead of time if you plan to rent a machine so we can reserve one for you.

Everything — You simply arrive via your own transportation, and we take care of the rest! Your room, food and drinks and all content, events and experiences... are included. Quite simply, the only thing not included is your airfare, transportation to/from our retreat location, materials for sewing/classes, and if you’d like to plan for some additional shopping or sightseeing.

Our Retreat runs from checking in Wednesday, June 24, 2026 after 4PM to Checkout on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 11am. If you are flying in, you'll want to fly into Dallas. When making travel arrangements, it is best to plan to attend the full Retreat so you don't miss any of the special planned experiences.

Refresh Retreat allows a max of 24 women to allow for the perfect mix of skill levels, personalities and connections to be made. 🥳 This is an intimate, cozy retreat—no giant conference rooms, no rushing through meals or logistics. You’ll be surrounded by quilting friends in a thoughtful, relaxing environment.

There is no pressure to buy anything new for this in-person experience. You will need to bring the projects you want to work on and materials to work on the class project. Wear whatever feels comfortable to you!

You are welcome to bring any project you'd like to sew on! We encourage you to bring your unfinished projects from home, or drop in at the largest quilt store in Texas to purchase something new! The shared sewing/activity and kitchen areas are available for you to use 24 hrs. a day!

All bedrooms are shared rooms with 2 twin beds and 1 full bathroom each. Bring a friend and you can room together! Just be sure and include each other’s names on your registration and we’ll match you up. Coming alone? Don’t fret, about 95% of attendees who come, don’t know anyone either. This is an opportunity to come together with some of your soon to be best quilting friends! We’ll match roommates for you and let you know in advance so you can introduce yourselves.

This option will be discussed with the retreat facility and will be an option if schedules allow... however, at the moment, check-in begins at 4PM on June 24, 2025.

You will receive a comprehensive retreat packet with EVERYTHING you need to know (including a detailed packing list) early November. StitchinHeaven will provide: Unlimited access to a spacious and well-lit sewing space, Tables for cutting, Ironing boards and irons, Sewing tables and electrical outlets, a full kitchen, drinks, super comfy & cozy bed, linens and towels. Sewing machines available to rent during retreat - Please make this request ahead of time so we know how many to rent.

StitchinHeaven also has machines available to rent while on retreat. If you would like to borrow a machine, please let Christen know ASAP so we know how many machines to rent.

We believe that you are deserving of spending 4 days focused completely on you and your love of quilting! Because of this (and insurance policy reasons), only participating attendees are allowed on retreat property during our event.

You will receive a comprehensive retreat packet with EVERYTHING you need to know (including a detailed clothing packing list) in early November. You'll also schedule a private call with Christen prior to the retreat for her to answer any questions you have and make a plan for what your focus will be during our retreat experience.

Our retreat facility has a few rooms that are ADA compliant with their own restrooms. We want you to feel at home and at ease throughout your stay. Rooms are first come, first served. Please contact Christen to make this reservation note asap.

Yes! Lucky you! Christen will be bringing her most trusted and favorite wing woman! Attendees will have the pleasure of meeting Ms. Carol. She is Christen's #1 supporter, assistant and also... her momma 🤩 You will love her!

Yes! There is an exclusive online community group where you can introduce yourself and make any shared travel arrangements prior to the retreat. It'll be a great way to share excitement and ideas as the retreat grows closer!

There are a few ways to accomplish this. Purchase 2 tickets for guaranteed solo occupancy, send a request to Christen and we will try to accommodate if possible. The last option is renting a small cottage during our retreat time for an added cost. Cottages are on property and adorable. They sleep 2-3 per room and have their own bathroom. Contact Christen for availability and pricing. There are a lot of fun activities that we have planned once the sun goes down in the evenings! You don't want to miss them! *There is a limited number available and are sold first come, first served.

In short... the shared bedrooms of the retreat facility do not allow for men and women to co-share the space. No. Any fabric purchases or cost of materials for projects are not included. Each ticket holder will be provided with a detailed list of materials needed prior to the trip, but if you do need anything, Stitchin' Heaven... the largest quilt shop in Texas, is right next door!

Due to the nature of this intimate event, details are planned and personalized far in advance for each of and every guest. All deposits and payments are 100% non-refundable. However, when notice is given via email at least 4 weeks prior to the event, deposits and payments may be used toward a future ISeeStarsQuilting experience.
